Viewing the lighthouse after scrambling down slippery rocks to the water's edge is a rich experience. This lighthouse has become one of the most awe-inspiring, often photographed and revered images on the Maine coast. It is a true icon. It is challenging to rise above the clich`e when depicting this image. You be the judge if my attempt was successful or not.
