The ever changing moods of Acadia never cease to amaze me. Living at the very edge of the Acadia National Park gives me ample time to hike trails up its mountains and around lakes and streams. All these prints were created from original watercolors inspired by Acadia's rugged beauty. The seasons wrap it in many colored "moods." These range from the brilliant red and gold of fall leaves, to the winter's frozen snow white with blue-grey and rose shadows, to spring's pale pink and tender green hues, as lady slippers nod to the "ode to joy" of summer's verdant greens and shimmering sea blues. This Downeast National Park is a perfect place to celebrate the wonder of nature.
